Sedona AZ

So, since we were in the car for this trip, we went to the top of the AZ side of the dam to get some pics of the guys coming across.


As we headed out across the desert, we saw this on one side of the car,

and this on the other side.

Guess which way we were headed.. :)
It started to get a little lighter,

but then.. it got darker.


The views were great! (from inside my warm car)

The rain just kept getting heavier and turned to hail.


Then, as we pulled into Jerome, AZ,

The clowds parted and the rain stopped.

This town really has their priorities straight, that's the LYS.

I've never seen a yarn shop seperated by color.

Sedona is very pretty, but very touristy! We just passed through on the way to camp.


Our first visitor in camp was Robin :) We also had a visit from very large, noisy ravens, and a skunk, but I didn't stop to take a pic of him!

The "bears" came out and messed with tents and scared people!

The night before we left I knit a cover for my new Sirius radio :)


Then my camera got jealous and wanted one too.



I spent Monday working on Suzy's b-day present, but I'm doing the design myself, and it is not turning out how I want it to, so here's a pic of the socks I'm working on instead!

Exactly 1 Month

So, I got my camera back yesterday!!! So, of course that means I have pictures for all ya'll.

First, I will show ya what I have been holding off on sending till I got my camera back to take pics of.. I mean working on for my niece.

As some of you may have noticed, there is a lot of yarn missing.. :) Well, my trip to the LYS went very well. I didn't realize that there was going to be a shop full of knitters there. I started to show my yarn to the shop owner, and she called her customers over to have a look.

First question: "You dyed this?" Second question: "How much?"

I looked at the shop owner, and she gave me the go ahead!! I was shocked! Knitters started handing me money and walking away with my yarn.. un-pictured yarn!!

Wait.. I need that.. umm you can't uh.. nevermind.. Can I help you ball that :)

So, I sat and knit for a few hours. A couple of them live on the north end and may come to cc this week!! It was very nice to meet new people, I wish I had pics to show :( I left my info with the shop, she said "we need to talk" :) I KNOW!! Right.

I will have my camera tonight, so bring stuff for me to take pictures of!
