BAAADD BLOGER!!
Anyways, the plus side is, my niece finally got her b-day presents (about 3 months late), Jeni got her wedding blankie (2 months late) and I some how managed to kitchner the sock from last Tuesday night and knit a whole second sock in time for a party Saturday!! It was worth letting the blog slide a little.
I did have to wake up early Sat. to finish the sock, and thank goodness it was super wash.. and yes, even though I left them out on the dashboard on the way there, they were still a little moist when they came out of the gift bag hahhaa. I don't care! They were on time, and I didn't even have to use the actual b-day date! (wed.) :D
I currently have 1 project going on. That's right, I said ONE! It's the So Called Scarf it will be done tonight!! it is long enough that if I had cast off, it could have been done last night and since it 100 billion degrees here in the desert, I'm calling that one early! (even though it is probably actually late for last year ahhaa)
So, now I am going to go to Ravelry to find a pattern for the seestor whose b-day is on the 4th of July so I'll have something to work on Tuesday night and this coming Saturday which is WORLD WIDE KNIT IN PUBLIC DAY!!! Don't forget!
I will be out and about all day and into the evening. Anyone that wants to hang with me is more than welcome, and I can fit 4 bodies w/knitting bags in my fuel efficient car!! :D So far, I'm thinking Borders, Wooly Wonders, a coffee shop in Henderson, and then the Cellar in Boulder City for some wine!! (they have killer desert too). I'm open to suggestions and changes in direction too!!
On the baby front.. my daughter is on her way back to base :( She is doing well though. She has been able to keep down a fair amount of food, and she got all caught up on the sleep she was losing!! 8 weeks :)
On the not yet front, I've gotten all the blood work done, 6 tests in all, done on the correct days this time. I love my new DR so far :). This Friday I have a hysterosalpingogram. Should I be worried about the fact that it is on Friday the 13th?
It doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun, but at least I won't have to do it with a full bladder like the pelvic ultrasound that I'm getting done following Tuesday night. (which means that I'll be missing yoga and cc! :( )
The directions are... at 6pm drink 48 oz of water.. make sure you have drank it all by 7pm. Then.. don't pee! Come down here so that around 8ish.. we can press on your bladder for a little while.. and umm don't pee on our bed!
I've done this one before.. trust me it truly is as bad as it sounds!
Well, I will try to load some pics and not keep yall hangin' too long! :)

Dear Sony Please fix my camera. love nobody
Within 2 hours, someone in ONTARIO had bought a set! (Canada people!! I've gone international!) Then to my surprise, when I logged on this morning, I found that another wonderful knitter had purchased 3 sets! They will be shipped off to PA tonight!!
To all of you that have been so supportive of my efforts, thank you very much! I will try to keep making things you like. I have some un-dyed yarn on its way, and I will find a way to post pictures of it as soon as it is dyed!!
In other knitting/crocheting news.. I finished the two at a time socks, I started a sweater for my niece, and NO, the wedding blankie is not done yet. No pictures.. :(
I took my broken camera to a camera shop, but the tech could not diagnose the problem. He sent it off to Sony for me. I miss my camera :( I hope they can fix it!
My son's 2.1 mega pixel just doesn't cut it. My phone takes better pictures!
In memory of when I could take pictures, I have some for you today from the last time it worked... my friend Jeni's wedding.. woo hoo!
I love mid-westerners in the desert in spring!! :D
I was kinda put in charge of the "no strippers" bachlorette party at the last min. with the only direction being.. "we want tattoos".
SWEET I can do that!! No notice needed.
Where once there was blank skin and faded tattoos
There would be fresh ink!!
The beautiful bride,
the maid of honor,
the brides maid,
and the other midwestern friend,
all got wonderful tattoos from the extremely talented artists and Ink Inc. They never let me down. :D
Is it just us? or does this caladah look strangely like the wicked witch from sleeping beauty?
Mirror Mirror on the wall...?
BA tattoo for a chef eh?
Now we see why she got this tattoo the first time..
It's so pretty.
Then we went to Freemont Street, cause once you take someone down town to get a "yard stick",
you know they are going to want to go back!!
And of course, no bachlorette party I'm at would be complete without some bikers!!
The wedding was early the next day :D It was so beautiful!
I hadn't seen her parents in atleast 8 years..
Mom on the right.
Dad.. also on the right.
They got married at the Chapel in the Sky at the top of the Stratisphere :)
Adam didn't really seem nervous at all.
The bride's maids dresses were great!
I was cryin' like a baby!
Ok, now he looks a little nervous.
Some last min. advice from Mom.
(notice the fresh tat! ;)
Awwwww
I'm so happy for you Jen. I hope you and Adam are as happy as me and my hubby! (I know you've already been together WAY longer than us.)
That was the end of my picture taking abilities. :( There was a beautiful reception, and then we went and picked up my son from Prom!! and me with no camera! I hope that I hear back from Sony soon!!

Blog lines and photobucket.
Sorry, I won't break it again... I hope :)
So, I'm sorry if your blog lines is going crazy saying I've posted like a hundred times today!! I found a way to post the videos of my friends riding the mechanical bull! I think they are above.. or maybe below this post.. they are floating around somewhere.
Anyways, I actually have been doing stuff that is post worthy, I just haven't posted it. I'm sorry, I'm a bad bad blogger.
My camera is full of pics, the ones I have actually downloaded are about a couple weeks or so old. Lets see what we got :)
OH, first, my gorgeous niece turned one last Saturday!!!
Photobucket src="http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z163/nobody2577/family/brie044.jpg" border=0>
This is when she was out here last Sept. I can't wait to see her again.
My hubby also had a b-day! He's a St.Patrick's day baby :D
My MC had our annual support party. There is a video of the band either above or below this post. (there goes blog lines again.. ) The band is UPDOG, they are very good.
We had a pool tournament this year, I didn't get a pic of the winner, but here's some of the action :)
Here are some pics from the party.
A good time was had by all. There have actually been many, many more parties and runs since ours, (WOW that was back in FEB.. I am a bad blogger!!) I didn't take any pics to share though.. sorry.
I have been knitting and crocheting. I finished some socks for my friend Jeni.
Photobucket src="http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z163/nobody2577/crochet/socks024.jpg" border=0>
I have also been working on a granny square blankie for her wedding April 5th!! I need to get going BIG time.
Photobucket src="http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z163/nobody2577/crochet/granny001.jpg" border=0>
There is a pair of socks for my ssister Linda on the needles too. I am making them out of some Louette Gems that came burgundy. I dyed it to have black stripes :) They are turning out very punk!! I love'em, I think I'm going to have to make another pair for me someday!!
I am doing these two at a time on two circular needles. I like this technique, but you have to make sure you check the pattern first, if you need to move stitches around at all, you could have more trouble than it is worth!
On other yarn news, I have been dying a bit of yarn. When the colors have names, I will post the pics :)
Enjoy the videos :D

This one time...
The boys went out of town this weekend and left us unsupervised!
Plan A:
get a pedicure
go to lunch
maybe a movie
Things were going as planed.
pedicures a
ate huge amounts of Mexican food a
Then.. I got a phone call.
The gas tank for my bike was finally ready, just a small detour on the way to the movies, that's ok.
Back to plan A, we headed to a casino and even agreed on a movie.. mmm Matthew McConaughey that wasn't hard (hard.. tee hee).
Then a different M word appeared.. mmmMartini. Sweet, the casino has a martini bar right next to the movie theater.. good call!
He's no Mathew,
but he sure can shake a drink.
My partners in crime.. :) 56
As we sat sipping our fruity, high powered drinks, we started to come to a realization.. there was no one at home waiting for us.. no one waiting for dinner, no one wondering where we were..
That is when plan B started.
We ditched the movie and decided to do a little gambling. Since none of us really gamble, and we had never actually entered a BINGO hall, it made sence at the time.. don't judge me!
No wonder I didn't win.. I was at seat 13!
It was more fun than you would think. The games moved along pretty quick!
OOOO 69!! woo hooo
We started to run out of ideas, but we were definately ready to get out of the casino. While we stood outside my car, letting the paint fumes from my mc gas tank out, opps, we decided that the night had gotten a little too chilly to continue the fun in flip flops and no jackets.
We split up to go feed dogs and get warm clothes, and to try and come up with more ideas. It seems weird that living in such a big city, where everything is open 24 hours, we would have problems coming up with things to do, but we were in "just go with it mode" and that's not as normal for any of us as it used to be :(
Then it hit me.. we needed desert :)
So we picked up reinforcements and headed to Boulder City.
Reinforcements 5
Luckily, our reinforcement drinks red wine, cause the pics of the white were not very pretty.
I was a good designated driver and had some coffee..
Notice, there is no evidence of the before mentioned desert.. ;) It didn't last long enough. hahaha
Someone noticed a flier with a balot sitting on the table.
Aparently, there is a sculpture contest going on.We couldn't pass up the culture, so we went for a brisk mid-night walk. I luv Boulder City!
No, we don't know what happened to the blue guys hands?.. Why do you ask?
We started to feel the absence of the men folk.. ;)
Did I mention that we started to feel the absence of the guys? hahaha
We all voted..
and then got kicked out so our waitress could go home.
On the way back in to Vegas, we decided to stop by at a couple friends' houses..
We didn't hang out long.. since the home owners appeared to be in bed and we didn't want to get shot!
As we mossied our way down Boulder Hwy, this sign caught my eye..
Bein' that I was the only one in the car that had ever been in this particular country bar, and one of my passengers had to use the restroom, I had a brilliant idea!
It was deffinately cow girl time!!!
I can't get the videos to load :(!! I will try again later.
But trust me, they are fine bull riders :D
After the country bar, we went for breakfast and called it a night.. morning.. well, what ever. We went home.
Somehow, I still found time this weekend to hand dye my first skein of yarn!
I hope it still looks tie dyed when I knit it up!
